Bourgeois guitars are warranted against defective materials and workmanship, to the original owner. Being a small shop, we do not have a “formal” repair department, which limits us to repairing only warranty related issues on Bourgeois Guitars.

Per the warranty, guitars must be returned at customer expense to Bourgeois for warranty service. Should it be necessary to service the guitar elsewhere, this choice will be made exclusively by Bourgeois Guitars, and the repair person / facility must be approved by Bourgeois in advance of ANY work being performed. Proposed charges must also be approved by Bourgeois Guitars before ANY work is performed, and are limited to the equivalent costs of in house repairs, which may not entirely cover off site repairs, thus the preferred method is always in house repairs.
Warranty repairs are undertaken in order of receipt dates. There is no standard quoted time for a repair as repairs vary widely in complexity and time.
