In 2007, G2 was named the #1 European Bluegrass Band. The award made it possible for them to visit the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Convention in Nashville, TN., where we were lucky enough to meet them. Christoffer, G2’s lead singer and great song-writer, fell in love with a Vintage Dread.
G2 has released two critically acclaimed albums, Where The Tall Grass Grows in 2007 (Cosmos Records) and Untapped Routes (Cosmos Records) in 2010. They have appeared on national television in Sweden, toured Europe, supported acts like Jim Lauderdale, opened for Kris Kristofferson and played at the famous IBMA Awards Show at the legendary Ryman Auditorium.
In 2014, the band traveled to Nashville to record Mind Over Matter. Here is the video for their single from that record.
