Darrin’s Vintage Dread with Honduran Rosewood Back and Sides was used extensively on Dailey & Vincent’s award winning first CD, “Dailey & Vincent”. And on their 2nd Rounder release, “Brothers from Different Mothers”, you’ll hear Jamie Dailey’s Vintage Dread in Honduran Rosewood & Adirondack top on every cut of that CD and it is also on the cover.
That 2nd CD debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart.
When they joined forces together in 2008, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent were already veterans of Bluegrass music having some twenty years experience between the two of them from long tenures with Bluegrass and Country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs.
We got to know Darrin Vincent when he played with Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder. For a long time he played a Bourgeois archtop on that gig. In Dailey & Vincent he wanted a dreadnought and chose a Vintage D in Adirondack & Honduran Rosewood.
Thanks Darrin. We love ya.
