Duke Robillard is one of the world’s most respected blues guitarists. He’s a four time “Best Blues Guitarist” award winner, and a frequent guitarist-of-choice for folks such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Jay McShann, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Hammond, the late Jimmy Witherspoon, Dr. John, Maria Muldaur, and many others. He founded the seminal band “Roomful of Blues” which helped jump start the swing revival and is cited as an influence by many of the genre’s finest players. A life-long vintage guitar enthusiast, we are thrilled that Duke chooses to play a Bourgeois L-DBO for live acoustic appearances.

“My Bourgeois model L-DBO is the most amazing sounding and playing guitar. I have owned quite a few 20s and 30s small bodied rare guitars and this Bourgeois sounds as good or better than any of them! It’s a beautiful instrument that is an instant classic with its beautiful Adirondack spruce top that sings like a bird. It plays like a dream and is my acoustic flat top guitar of choice for recording and live playing.” – Duke Robillard
