Monte plays an Custom Black Slope D, an 0-150, an OMSC 12 Fret Cutaway and a Ray LaMontagne Signature Series Dread.
He plays guitar with Madonna and has been on every live tour with her since her 2001 Drowned World Tour.
He has worked with Prong and Adam Lambert. And has two solo albums to his name, Pain Love & Destiny went to No. 1 Rock Album, No. 1 Pop Album and made it on to the Top 10 Albums chart…all in the first week! It also made it into iTunes’ Top 200 within it’s first week…the only record by an indepenent artist to do so.
