Aloha, from Maine...
This limited-edition model is exclusive to our Touchstone Series. Crafted with figured Hawaiian Koa back and sides, each guitar showcases unique, naturally figured woods, ensuring no two instruments are the same.
Sound & Feel
Salvaged from the ancient Koa forests of the Big Island of Hawaii, the Hawaiian Country Boy’s Koa backs and sides sound as good as they look, offering a rich midrange and a touch of island warmth that will deepen over time. Dana Bourgeois has personally selected each old-growth Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top in this series. Chosen for their bright and responsive tap tones, each one was hand-voiced at Dana’s small workshop in Maine.
By combining the warmth of Island Koa with the sparkle of winter spruce, the Touchstone Hawaiian Country Boy has been designed to respond equally well to delicate fingerpicking and lively strumming.
Giving Back
In Partnership with Hearne Hardwoods, Bourgeois Guitars will donate 5% of proceeds from every Limited-Edition Hawaiian Country Boy sold to support the ongoing Koa reforestation efforts in the Hawaiian Islands.
