Afie Jurvanen has been creating music under the name Bahamas since 2009. In this visit to the Relix boiler room he shares two songs from his record, the aptly titled ‘Bahamas Is Afie.’
Bahamas told the Fretboard Journal in a visit to their studio that he purchased his Vintage D around three years ago from the Twelfth Fret in Toronto after admiring the guitar owned by Doug Paisley, a left-handed musician friend. Bahamas said: “It’s the first new guitar I’ve ever bought, I’ve always had old guitars. I have a whole pile of old guitars but this has become my main guitar.”
