We’ve been proud to be associated with Skip Cherryholmes throughout his entire career. Skip’s family started the band Cherryholmes, moved to Nashville, Tennessee and became one of the most hard-driving bluegrass bands in the industry. In their 12 year career, Cherryholmes toured the world, played with symphony orchestras, won the IBMA Entertainer of the Year award, and received 5 Grammy nominations. Skip played his D-150 and his A-350 Bourgeois Archtop a couple of hundred nights per year with Cherryholmes. You can hear those guitars on the CD ” Cherryholmes II Black and White”. That record, released by Skaggs Family Records, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Album chart.
Skip also plays with his Father-in-law, Steve Dilling, in the great all-star group, Sideline and with Lou Reid and Carolina. Skip is a masterful arranger and is well known for his guitar playing, singing, and showmanship.
Thanks Skip for making our guitars sound so good all these years!
