OM DB Signature 9960

This OM DB Signature 9960 shipped to Mass Street Music on May 16th, 2023.

As the name suggests, Dana Bourgeois’ Signature model reflects the essence of the master luthiers’ most iconic design traits. Built around it’s highly flamed Koa binding and signature multi-color herringbone, the OM DB Signature 9960 accents Adirondack Spruce and Madagascar Rosewood with the beauty of natural materials. This particular model has also been enhanced with another iconic design element, the large soundhole.

The OM guitar is the third largest 14 fret body size and differentiates from the 000 by its 25.5” long scale neck.

Along with the Dreadnought, our OM is our most popular body size and probably the second-most popular acoustic guitar worldwide. It’s no coincidence that the “Orchestra Model” appeals equally to fingerstyle players and flatpickers, thanks to its unparalleled combination of balance, presence, power and comfortable playability. It wasn’t always that way. Once relegated to the history books, the OM began a slow resurgence in the mid 1980’s. Schoenberg Guitars, co-founded by Dana Bourgeois, teamed up with C.F. Martin to introduce the first production-made OM since the 1930s.
